The Holiday Inn Express suffered in a major flood that damaged whole of the ground floor of the hotel. This 3 star hotel has 71 en suite bedrooms and 3 modern purpose built meeting rooms which makes the hotel popular with both leisure and business travellers.
epc associates were able to respond quickly to assess the damage and liaise between all interested parties. Appointed by the landlord, we co-ordinated with the landlord’s insurers and loss adjuster (building insurance cover) and the tenant and their insurer and loss adjuster (contents and business interruption cover). Matters were further complicated when the tenant purchased the hotel and the claim was assigned during the course of the works.
