Retail Success in Livingston
3rd of September, 2019We are delighted to pick up several retail projects in Livingston for 2017. Livingston is the sub-regional centre serving West Lothian and features one of the largest indoor shopping and leisure complexes in Scotland. EPCA have been appointed CDM Principal Designer for projects across all three of the principal retail area of the town: Livingston Designer Outlet, The Centre, and Almondvale West Retail Park. The last two appointments are in partnership with Doig+Smith, one of the UK's leading Quantity Surveying and Project Management firms. Livingston Designer Outlet is Scotland's largest designer outlet, with over 70 boutiques, restaurants and cafés. Highlights range from iconic fashion brands, including Fred Perry Kurt Geiger, Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger, athletic labels like Nike and Adidas, and high-street favourites like M&S and Next. The Centre is Scotland’s second-largest covered shopping centre and totals more than 1 million sq ft. It is home to over 160 retailers, including Primark, Debenhams, BHS and M&S, and has more than 2,500 parking spaces. Almondvale West Retail Park comprises six units totalling 116,000 sq ft let to retailers including TK Maxx and Matalan. Looks like 2017 will be busy on the retail front for our Principal Designers.
