What we do

Employers have obligations under Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 to assess the risks from asbestos. This usually means undertaking an Asbestos Survey.

EPCA provide a range of asbestos services, including Management Asbestos Surveys and Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos Surveys. Our asbestos surveyors are fully trained and qualified to undertake asbestos surveys in compliance with HSG 264 – the HSE’s guide to asbestos surveys. We specialise in all aspects of asbestos management on behalf of clients, and can provide the following services:

• Management Asbestos Surveys, with or without bulk sampling of suspect asbestos containing materials as required.
• Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos Surveys, for buildings undergoing repair, alteration, refurbishment or demolition works.
• Asbestos Management Plans Assistance in preparing, including guidance on how to achieve compliance, and assistance in preparing Priority Assessments.
• Ongoing Routine Inspections of identified asbestos containing materials to ensure compliance is up to date. Reviews of previous asbestos surveys, asbestos registers, existing asbestos management systems, etc.
