EPCA are owned by co-directors William Bell and Matt White. We have grown over the last 12 years to become a firmly established firm of Chartered Building Surveyors and construction health & safety professionals. There are 10 people within the practice.

We are seeking a Construction Professional who is experienced with AutoCAD and knowledge/experience with Non-Domestic EPC surveys.  

  • You will assist four senior Chartered Building Surveyors with all aspects of drawing work associated with Local Authority Consents,  Building Warrants,  Planning Applications, etc; Detailed drawings to support tender documents; and providing Construction issue level drawings associated with in the main refurbishment of existing commercial properties.  Project values ranging from £100k - £1.5m. 

  • It will be an advantage to have experience of Non Domestic Energy Performance Certificates,  and carrying out associated surveys.  If the candidate has no direct experience then at least a good working knowledge of commercial building services would be an advantage.  EPCA will provide necessary training where required. 

  • You'll be confident in working alone or in groups. 

  • You will have site experience involved with site measuring,  taking necessary site information details necessary to prepare existing drawings. 

  • You'll be happy with a varied balance of work within the office, and on our client’s construction sites. The majority of our work is in the Scottish central belt but on occasion you'll be working throughout the UK. 

  • You'll be confident working with IT systems, such as AutoCAD or similar Word, Excel, mobile and cloud based systems. 

You may be at the outset of your career, or have more experience and knowledge. We will assess candidates on their own merits, as its important to us to appoint the right candidate for this post.
